Women's health is overlooked and downplayed in our society and we are led to believe that pain is a normal part of being a woman. That's a lie, and we need to change that belief once and for all.
I want to provide women with a safe place to explore how to care for their health, to listen to themselves, to make the choices that are right for them, their lives and their bodies. We need to be detectives, advocates and activists, and we need to step up our own game. Learn to say NO to advice, medical or other, that doesn't work for us, that doesn't bring us closer to where we want to be. Advice that fence us in, that puts us in chains, that leaves no light in the end of the tunnel. To question diagnoses, prognoses and words such as impossible or chronic that gets unwillingly attached to us. Just because one person doesn't know how to do it doesn't mean it can't be done. It doesn't mean healing can't occur, whether it's mentally, physically or spiritually. We have to learn not to take someone else's word for it and instead go find out for ourselves.
We all have individual needs, individual backgrounds, individual reasons and stories, individual genetic factors
and individual lifestyle challenges. There is not one solution fits all when it comes to health and wellbeing.
Your history; physical, spiritual, relationships, mental, work, sleep, stress factors, toxicity, nutritional deficiencies and imbalances etc are all important parts of the puzzle and have to be included in a holistic approach to healing. There is also the collective aspect of being a woman at this time when challenges sometimes seems insurmountable. We hold the wisdom, but also the traumas, pain and fear in our wombs, and sometimes we need to dig deep to find where our truth lies.
When we get out of balance, feel overwhelmed and can't find the right road ourselves it's helpful to have someone with a flashlight showing us where there's solid ground. To help guide, to be a hand to hold, to celebrate our victories, to believe when we just can't do it ourselves. It’s up to you to decide. This is your healing journey, and either way you want to go I will support your choice. However, it is important to know that you have choices, and it’s your right to know what they are. That's what I am here to do; to be your running mate, your cheerleader and your confidant. I want to empower you and inspire you to make the choices that are right for you.
This work is deeply personal to me. Womens health and empowerment is my passion, and I believe we rise by lifting each other up. In every story there is suffering. In every story there is potential to healing. Become the wise woman of your own life and make the decisions that are right for you. You can find your own path if you listen to yourself and do your own research. Together we can create the best conditions for your body, mind and spirit to heal. Life isn't here for us to observe - it is here for us to live.
It's time to tell HerStory - Your story. And who's better to tell it than you?
